Before change:

Users can define task color in the Gantt module manually or by status. In other modules, the color is visible only as a value of the Color field.

After change:

Users have the possibility to color the task based on the applied coloring rule:

value of a selected field (e.g. priority=major --> orange, priority=critical --> red, Story Point >21 --> yellow, etc.)
comparison of selected fields values (e.g. Original Estimate > Time Spent --> red)

The feature applies the colors automatically on task cards in Board/Risk modules and taskbars/ task rows in Gantt/ Scope/ Resources modules.
